CREATIVE VOICE WORKSHOPS
MESSY HANDS, HAPPY HEART
Creative Voice Workshops are for those who have a deep desire to be creative but have no idea where to start. I am replacing "I can't even draw a straight line" with a new mantra: "If you can write your name, you can create art." We will use a variety of media, materials and techniques to create pieces that are completely unique. At the end of my workshop, no two works of art will be exactly the same.

Creative Voice Workshops take place in Hinesburg, VT. Space is limited to 4 people per class.

Workshops temporarily on hold. Book a private party instead!
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Every participant in my Creativity Workshops will go home with a work of art that is completely, and utterly, unique to you. This is an "art & sip" night, but let me be clear, it is not a "copy everything I do" kind of evening. I will take you, step-by-step, through a guided creative journey but YOU will ultimately determine what those steps look like. Don't worry, I'll be right there giving you ideas and teaching you techniques to build your work of art - you just pick and choose which ones speak specifically to you. Through this process it is my hope that you gain the confidence, inspiration, experience and know-how to continue your artistic journey, whether it's in more of my workshops or on your own.
THE NIGHT OF
Because the art you create in this workshop is so personal, I will ask you to bring along 2-3 things that inspire you. Each class will have different requirements for what I would like you to bring. Here are some examples of items we may use:

-
Photographs
-
Poem or Quote, typed or handwritten
-
Ephemera (ticket stubs, pamphlets, notes, playing cards, postcards, discarded envelopes, holiday & birthday cards, etc)
-
Book page
-
Hand-drawn element or sketch
-
Map
-
Vintage images printed from online sources
-
Magazine cutouts
-
Scrapbook paper sheets or remnants
-
Wrapping paper remnants
-
Handwritten note
-
Newspaper article
-
Stamp
-
Small, flat collage items, such as feathers, fabric pieces, pressed leaves or flowers, thread, ribbon, buttons, etc.

*These items will be used in your art so please do not bring something too precious that can't be glued, cut, painted or drawn over. You can always bring a xerox copy of something that's particularly special.
OH, and don't forget to bring your beverage of choice!
This a BYO Beverage & Creativity evening!
